vertex mode wont stay !!!!!!!

Postby cyberfeen » Mon Feb 13, 2012 9:26 pm

So Ive been using this space pilot for YEARS, then when i upgrade to the latest drivers the dam thing stops working like it use to. Any time when im working in Maya 64bit, trying to go into vertex mode i quickly loose that mode in my view port. Meaning the object that was selected becomes deselected and no more vertex mode. This only happens when the space pilot is on. Never had an issues like this before the last driver updates. When i run Maya without the space pilot on, i have no problems what so ever. Is there going to be a fix for this bug anytime soon. This is sooo annoying!!

Not sure if this will help but i found it in the Windows forum regarding Vertex

"If you have the "Rotation Center" options "Auto" checked "uncheck it" and "Use Selected Set" in the popup menu, the plug-in should be picking up a point over the selected set. Try moving the selected set to the middle of the view and see if you now have the behaviour as you expect."

Otherwise one of the programmers may be of assistance.
I believe they made modifications to fix another issue..
