Unable to open 3dx Studio Control Panel in 3ds Max 2011

I have reinstalled the software for my SpacePilot Pro several times to no avail. I have the button set under my Utilities menu, but when I click, nothing happens.

The rotation center point is all off and I cannot make any adjustments to set it to selected object. Please assist asap. Thanks

when you start 3dsmax 2011 you should get a windows "3D Mouse News", which tells you what is new in the 3Dconnexion plugin for 3dsmax:

Pop-Up Menu

The new 3Dconnexion 3D Mouse Pop-Up Menu provides fast access to frequently used 3D Mouse functions.

It can be opened with the Menu or Panel Button on your 3D Mouse.

Rotation Center

The new Auto Rotation Center is intelligently monitoring your "point-of-interest" in Object Mode to determine the optimal Center of Rotation. You can set the Center of Rotation manually using the middle mouse button.

Rotation Center Visualization

The current Rotation Center is shown on the screen with a blue cross.

You can adjust the way it is visualized in the Pop-Up menu.

Please press the Menu button on your SpacePilot PRO and you will get the pop-up menu where you can adjust your settings.
