Hi Paul,
I sent it. Please try.
The keyboard is almost redundant.
I would try other fps games like Crysis and COD4. Spoken to 3dconnexion guy in Uk earlier. Would also try to video and upload on youtube soon.
To the rest who are using this for fps games, please join in and show of hand that this is what a gamer need!

I guess nobody has any information about the combination with the Space Pilot? If any please update us with information.
I know RBC has had an idea what went wrong, although didn't had a solution yet, anyone knows where this problem occurs?
___
@3Dconnexion: it would be great if you can help us out a bit, to help update these drivers to recent developments: windows 7, 64 bit, space pilot & space pilot pro. Where for thanks in advance!

Good point: the <DONE> in the title isn't correct.
I'd like to give it a try, but have no such programming skills and thus lack experience. I did open the files, it can't be impossible hard to learn, but it will take a lot of time to learn and then to develop anything.
We might need to consider hiring a programmer to finish this great project.
Maybe someone already has tried something, or can give some good links to tutorials or such regarding these drivers.

Ah, I found xpadder.
So buying this software right now doesn't help, but he might be able to add 3Dmouse functionality?
I did post a question to request the functionality we are looking for.
Any help to get the developers attention and to convince the developer, is of course welcome!
Pleas give some attention to this topic: "Xpadder: 3Dconnexion 3Dmouse support"
And hopefully the developer can help us out!
It most certainly would increase his sales, since it's sales and reach of both (Xpadder+3Dconnexion) worlds!

This program seems to fit what we need!
It is exactly what most of us are looking for, so once/if our devices are supported, we have found the perfect solution!
Thanks for sharing this Anumunrama!

Xpadder update
Update on Xpadder.
So, since the SpaceNavigator already has a driver, this should be a great solution, under active development and useable for more then just the 3D mouse.
SpaceNavigator owners:
- Install the RBC driver (or other available driver);
- Purchase Xpadder (currently 6.99 euro);
- Xpadder has already (limited) functionality for the 3Dmouse;
- Give feedback for improvement and better support;
- Get all future updates for free;
Visit: Xpadder - 3Dconnexion 3Dmouse support
Xpadder can be bought here: Xpadder.com
Great solution!
SpacePilot (Pro) owners:
- Once you have a SpacePilot driver, install it;
- Then you can use Xpadder - purchase Xpadder (currently 6.99 euro);
- Give feedback for improvement and better support;
- Get all future updates for free;
Visit: Xpadder - 3Dconnexion 3Dmouse support
Until we have a driver, we need to find one, the other software is been taking care of by Xpadder, once we have a working driver.
Space Explorer and others:
- Find/Develop a keyboard/joystick/mouse driver;
- Install the driver;
- Buy Xpadder;
- Give feedback for improvement and better support;
- Get all future updates for free;
Well this gives us a active development of the software.
But we still are in need for a functional driver.
Please do give updates on any information here.
Every little step is one step closer to great functionality!

1) If you'd like me to add support for the 3Dmouse by writing a driver or embedding non-controller support for it into Xpadder then check out this new post here - I have been contacted many times about drivers and so this answers all the questions.
2) If you can get all or some of the controller working in Xpadder (either using official, unofficial or drivers for another similar device) then I will improve support. See the link that Cable provided about additional triggers.
