Today my Space Navigator ceased working completely. The 3DConnection Home -> Properties-> Tools page says "No Device Found". I tried reinstalling the 10.8.1 driver and cold restarted the Mac. I made sure it was given permission in System Settings -> Security and Privacy. I also tried unplugging then re-connecting the SN. But even the test viewer does not respond to the Space Navigator any more.
The only thing I know changed recently is that I installed the latest security update to Ventura 13.5.
Has anyone else seen this? Any advice on how to fix it?

Never mind! It turns out that one of the USB-C ports on my MacBook has gone flakey.
