Windows 8 adn CATIA V6 R2013 PROBLEM WIth SPACEMOUSE PRO

Hi I have Catia V6 2013 instal in Windows 8 I bought a SPACEMOUSE PRO, and there was a problem , When I connecting a controller, Windows automatically installs the drivers, then open the CATIA and the mouse works fine . (However, with such a system can't to attribute buttons), however if I install the latest drivers 3dconnection, after the installation and re-loaded CATI, the mouse does't work (only in the CATI). ( profiles I haven't got chance to cati)) Is there a solution to this problem?

Hi garet007,

does your 3D mouse work in our demos (e.g Viewer or Cube3D)?

If you cannot navigate with the 3D mouse in Catia please look at FAQ #4 and #3 if this information helps.

Let me know your findings.

Unfortunately, turning off the firewall did not help. Mouse does not work only in cati v6r2013. Works in demos works even in DraftSight. As I wrote earlier, before installing the original drivers 3d mouse works

Please try the following: stop the driver and stop Catia. Then restart and check if you still can navigate in Catia. Please let me know your findings.

Which version do you see in the About box from the driver?

I stopped drivers, restart catie and now work (3d drivers off) driver :6,17,7

Hello garet007,

we need a log file of the driver to understans what is going on. Please proceed as follows:
- In the driver panel go to Tools and activate the entry "Write Log File".
- Stop the driver and stop Catia.
- Then restart the driver (Start -> All Programs -> 3Dconnexion -> Driver -> Start Driver).
- Restart Catia and try to navigate with the 3D mouse.
- Stop Catia and stop the driver.
- Go To %APPDATA%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare and save the file 3DxWare.log to another location.
- Send the file to an email address that I will provide to you in a PM.
