Preferences don't work

Windows 10 x64, latest drivers

I unsintalled and reinstalled the 3D connexion software, deleted the 3dconnexion user folder, plugged it in usb 2 and usb 3, nothing works.

In Fusion360 or 3dsmax, the Space Navigator moves, but none of my preferences are taken in consideration. I can set reverse, custom buttons etc in the 3D connexion app, but then it doesn't do anything different in the application (even though the 3dconnexion app shows that it recognized the application). It's highly annoying, what's the problem?

Is "3Dconnexion SpaceNavigator" listed by name in the Device Manager (under Human Interface Devices)?

It wasn't for some reason. I'm using Windows 10, fall update. I updated the driver manually, directing it to the 3Dconnexion installed folder, and it installed a 3D connexion KMJ Emulator, and it's working now apparently. Thank you
