I just discovered this occurs regardless of whether I use the wireless nib or simply have the SpaceMouse Wireless plugged in with a USB cable. If I remove the SpaceMouse from the system, I don't get a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD).

I have the same problem here. Exactly the same release as you do.

Hi both,

thanks for the report. As this Windows release is a Beta version we recommend to wait for the release resp. use the released version of Windows.

As a Microsoft employee I have to tell you this is a bug in your driver. Typically this class of bug is easily caught by enabling "driver verifier" which will cause an assertion and error during driver development. You must pay attention to whatever driver code that does not run at PASSIVE_LEVEL to not have any data that could be paged out. Maybe this link will help your developers out: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/librar ... s.85).aspx.

Regards,
Gus

From what we have been able to gather, this "bugcheck" (BSOD) was resolved in Insider Preview Build 15002, released on Jan 9.

If you continue to experience such bugchecks in Build 15002 or newer (latest is Build 15031 released last week) when returning the system from sleep and SpaceMouse device or receiver is connected, please let us know by posting here or contacting 3Dconnexion's technical support team.
