3ds Max Design '14 SP. 5

Hello All,

I have recently upgraded my version of 3ds Max Design from SP 0 to SP 5. My Space Mouse Pro was working well with the initial install of 3ds Max prior to the upgrade, but now it seems to be not working. Thinking that I needed upgrade my drivers, I upgraded to 3DxWare 10 for Windows 7 64 bit. That did not help solve the problem however. Also, I'm not too sure if the driver upgrade stuck or not. When I installed them, the device manager shows the driver for the SpaceMouse Pro as 1.3.0.10403, with a date of 06/06/2014. The 3DxWare 10 for Windows 7 shows a version number of 10.2.0 on the website (http://www.3dconnexion.com/service/drivers.html), with a release date of 11/14/2014. Not sure if I'm looking in the right area or not for the driver details or not.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We have found a problem with the plugin for 3dsmax and 3DxWare 10.2.0. For 3dsmax 2014 the plugin is not loading. In 3dsmax the process how a plugin is loaded was changed and we have a problem with version 2014. For 3dsmax 2015 there are no known problems; the plugin is loading.

We are tracking this issue internally with bug #6815. I will inform you if we have a solution or if we find a workaround. In the meantime please install our previous version of the driver 3DxWare 10.1.4. This version is available on our download site for legacy drivers.
