10.2.0 Not applying button changes

Post by 3Disconnect »

spacemouse pro firmware 4.53, 3dxwincore 17.2.0.11011, win7 64it. had a previous driver installed, just installed the dew 10.2 driver.

Button setting changes made in the buttons dialog box do not apply. I've been trying in Google earth and autocad. Reinstalled the drivers, rebooted a few times.

anyone else having this problem???

100 views and no replies, i guess there's no fix. I reverted back to 10.0 beta 16 because it works.

You asked your question on a Friday night. Anyone 'official' is likely gone for the weekend.

Hello 3Disconnect,

If you had one of our beta drivers installed there might be a conflict with existing configurations. I recommend you remove your existing configurations and give it a new try. See here how to do that.

Does anyone know where the button information is stored ? If it's in the registry, I would like to modify the access to these keys so that my software stop resetting them to their default values, before throwing my 3d navigator out the window.

An XML file is created in your %APPDATA%\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg folder. The defaults are in the installation folder of 3DxWare e.g.: C:\Program Files\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\3DxWinCore64\Cfg
