What app would you like to see supported on Mac OS X?

Choose the one you use the most. If it's missing from the list, add it as a reply to the topic and I'll add it to the list. BTW "All" doesn't apply.
1 month poll.

I selected Final Cut, but Cinema 4D is second.
I've been an early SN adopter for Macintosh, and more than a year after, I just see that SN team haven't made anything to provide more support for the SN on the top used applications on Mac Os X.

SN team, claiming it's not your job will not help.

ok, our PHPBB is having some serious problems in updating the poll. I won't add more apps to the poll, so if an app is absent from the list, just mention it in the comments. Sorry.

Finder, Preview, Safari, Firefox, Photoshop Elements, GraphicConverter, Canvas, iTunes, iLife, iWork, every 3D Game...

Seriously, this device is too good to just stand around until you are using one of the very few supported applications.

It needs a generic driver like other input devices which can be configured for mouse movements and keyboard inputs. It would be great for scrolling, zooming and other tasks in a lot of applications.

I agree. Why does support have to be added *per application*?

I'd love to see support for all Mac apps that have 3d navigation: Electric Image 7, After Effects, Motion, OsiriX (medical imaging), Hexagon, Silo, modo, Shake, etc...

SpacePilot Cinema 4D support please!

Postby dwerf » Thu May 29, 2008 6:01 am

Dear 3Dconnexion people,

Thank you very much for giving your attention to the Mac platform, Google Earth works beautifully! Recently (about three months ago) I made a dramatic and double switch: I went from from Maya on the PC, to Cinema 4D on the Mac. Now I can tell you my SpacePilot looks very sexy next to my Mac Pro, but I would LOVE to be able to start using it again very soon Piloting through 3D Space like a God ... my fingers itch badly!

Secondary but far less important, After Effects and Final Cut Pro support would be nice. Thanks a zillion for creating such brilliant magical goodies, now make them compatible with my other magical goodies please ;-)

add to wish list

I'd like to see Carrara (daz3d.com) supported. The local community college here uses this program for its 3D modeling class, mainly because it's affordable by most students. I use it because I took the class and it's what I learned on.
