Blender: problem with rotation only

Post by radionator »

I successfully installed a Spaceball 5000 on Ubuntu 8.10 using the driver from 3dconnexion (3dxware-linux-v1-4-3.i386).

I also installed the plugin for Blender: 3DxNdofBlender.plug (v0.1 - 31 July 2007)

The xcube works fine in all 6 directions. All motions are OK and the right direction.

Even in Blender (2.46) translation works in all 3 directions.

There is only a problem with rotation:

X: OK
Y: rotates reverse
Z: does not work

I have checked this by switching all axis off and then switching each axis on separately.

Reverse Y and Z translation did not work.

Has anyone else experienced this (and solved)?
Is there a setting in Blender to adjust this?

Thanks in advance for your support
