Actually, it is because he is a spammer, and has never touched a 3D mouse in his life.

Re: Driver for Solid Works 2004 and Windows 7
This will be a tough one. Since the SM Pro came out in 2011, it does not ship with plugins for 7 year old software. Likewise, the driver/plugin packages which do support SW2004 arent going to directly support a device that didnt yet exist. Sometimes older Vista drivers will load into Windows 7. Ther...

Re: Alias Maya 7 Support
Finding drivers for something as old as Maya 7 with today's spacemice is going to be a challenge. The only model still supported which was around when Maya 7 was current, is the Space Navigator. According to this thread -- http://www.3dconnexion.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=793 it looks like Dr...

Re: Antique Spacemice Hardware/Software
I just so happen to own a couple of very old Macs. (go figure)jwick wrote:Being ADB, if you found an old Mac, they may still do something. Maybe move the cursor. Any other software that I could find would require a very old Mac.

Re: Antique Spacemice Hardware/Software
Hey jwick, Are these some of yours? :) Old Mac ADB prototypes? The stickers imply November and January... any clue to a year? I would also guess that any software for these has long since ceased to exist. http://i.imgur.com/RndYFIWl.jpg http://i.imgur.com/A5TWc6Ll.jpg These were found in the bottom ...

Re: S-Navigator:3dXv10.2:LEDS:Off After Sleep/Resume-Vista32
Best guess..... The PC sleep puts the SpaceNav in power saving mode, but not via the driver. So when the PC wakes up, the driver thinks that the light is still on (because it never told it to turn off). Thats why toggling it off and back on fixes it. I dont think the driver can 'ask' the SpaceNav fo...

Re: Can only manipulate camera - not objects/models
AFAIK, there is no simple way to toggle back and forth between camera and object mode. My brain is more comfortable with object mode, so that is how I have my Blender settings. It is just a matter of reversing the axis and motion options. I am not familiar with setup in Maya, but in Blender, you mus...

Re: Rotation Centre in Sketchup
Yes, I see that, and I am sure that kind of functionality is much more involved than a change in the plugin. Not sure how old that video is, but the $50 'Personal Edition' of the Space navigator has not been around since 2009-ish. So sometime in the last 5 years, Google removed that option (like the...

Re: Spend a whole lot delivers none
In blender it only moves from right to left, and zoom, I cannot rotate at all. I did found something somewhere about 'issue' since a later release of blender. Computers are kind of frustrating it drives me nuts Strange. The default action for Blender is rotation, and to get panning and zoom you mus...

Re: Rotation Centre in Sketchup
Given the change in functionality you want to see, it will take much more than a driver or plugin update. This will require Google to do some additional work within SketchUp itself. Even if the 3Dconnexion product team writes all the code for them and has it working, until Google pushes those change...
